Gus's Famous Red Hots

Driving up with Vince to Northfest (a detailed post about this to follow in a few days) and we stopped at Gus's Restaurant in Platsburgh for a bathroom break. As I returned from the bathroom, Vince has engaged the girl behind the counter in conversation.

She says, "You really ought to try one of our Red Hots. They're great."

"What" asks Vince, "exactly is a 'Red Hot'?"

"It's just like a Michigan, only without onions."

Glad she cleared that up for us.
